Christian Laurin

Originally from Montréal, Christian Laurin studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. In 1992, he moved to Toronto and studied clowning, mask and improvisation with Michael Kennard and John Turner (Mump & Smoot), with whom he eventually toured through Canada and the United States. He has also collaborated with Theatre Smith-Gilmour on three productions: Le Malade Imaginaire, produced by the Théâtre français de Toronto (TFT), Dante’s Inferno at the Factory Theatre and In The Wings of Eden on a Canadian and European tour. Other theatre credits include Le Dieu du Carnage, Fragments de Mensonges Inutiles, Les Précieuses Ridicules and Le Médecin Volant by the TFT, The Hollow at the Canadian Stage, Fallen Angels with Theatre Aquarius and Carmen at the Canadian Opera Company, where he played the role of Lilas Pastia.

Laurin has appeared in numerous film and television productions such as Météo+ (Carte Blanche Prods), The Sopranos (HBO), The Pacifier (Disney), Hades Factor (CBS), The Pathfinder (Hallmark Entertainment), Terry (CTV) and Victor (CBC). He appears regularly on the TFO series Les Bleus de Ramville.
